SPECTERS OF THE PAST Part 2

The next day…

Wow she looks good thought Ash while still in bed. I'll let her sleep while I go eat. Ash went downstairs and found his

mother already cooking breakfast. “Good morning mom.” Greeted Ash. “Good morning honey.” She replied. Ash turned on

the local news. On TV there was a reporter standing in front of Indigo Plateau. “A few moments ago, Team Gemini went into

this building, claiming to want to challenge all of the Elite Four and become Pokemon Masters!” announced the reporter. Ash

spit out his tea after hearing that last remark. “What?!?” shouted Ash. “Don't shout so loud!” his mother scolded; “You'll wake

everyone up.” Which is exactly what happened. Misty, Brock, and Christine came rushing down the stairs. “What? What is

it?” complained Brock. “Team Gemini's up to no good in Indigo Plateau.” “Can't we eat first?” whined Christine. “Sorry.”

Apologized Ash as they all ate and changed. “Let's go!” encouraged Misty.

The Elite Two…

Ash and friends rushed into the Elite four's chambers. “Hello Ash.” Said the woman at the front desk. “Go on in.” As Ash went

into Lorelei's Chamber, the team noticed that she wasn't there. As they kept going, they found that none of the other trainers

were in their places. When they finally reached Ash's room, they found Lance, Bruno, Agatha, and Lorelei all frozen in a corner,

and Team Gemini was chanting something. They suddenly turned around. “Ah, it's you again.” Observed Inferno. “Let's show

'em.” Challenged Polaris. “Inferno!” “Polaris” Team Gemini blast off at the speed of light!” shouted Inferno. “Surrender now

or prepare to fight.” Screamed Polaris. “Can't you guys be sued for using Team Rocket's motto?” inquired Lance. “Technically,

since we aren't using the entire motto, we can't be sued.” Explained Inferno. “Besides, Team Rocket is no longer an

organization, therefore rendering their copyright on the motto invalid.” Said Polaris. “Oh.” Was all that Lance could say.

“Prepare to be defeated, Ash.” Taunted Inferno. “We'll crush you like insects.” Teased Polaris. “Hey wait a minute!” shouted

Misty. “If you two are going to battle Ash, then he should at least have me as an extra trainer to keep things even.” Said Misty.

“Let's battle!” returned Ash.

The greatest Pokemon master…

“Go, Arcanine.” Said Inferno, throwing out his Pokemon. “Go, Jynx.” Screamed Polaris, engaging Ash. “Misty calls Starmie.”

Says Misty, sending her Pokemon out to face Inferno's Arcanine. “Charizard, I choose you!” called Ash, attacking Polaris.

Starmie used Hydro Pump on Arcanine. Arcanine's fire dimmed. “Arcanine, Take Down now!” commanded Inferno. Arcanine

lunged at Starmie, but Starmie evaded and came back with a Slash. Arcanine, was getting weak. “Starmie, finish it off with a

Water Gun!” ordered Misty as her Pokemon squirted Arcanine with water. “Arcanine, return.” Growled Inferno. In the

meantime, Ash's Charizard was using Fire Blast against Jynx. “Jynx, Hypnosis attack now!” screamed Polaris. Jynx knocked

Charizard out and started to Double Slap it. When Charizard's health was halfway gone, Charizard woke up and smashed Jynx

with its tail in a Rage. Jynx couldn't take it. “Jynx return.” Called Polaris. Now, Ash and misty were exchanging hugs of victory.

“Tigris, attack those infidels!” shouted Polaris, starting to heat up. Suddenly, the tiger Pokemon jumped out of hiding and

growled at Ash and Misty. “Ahh!!!” screamed Misty. “Go, Blastoise!” commanded Ash. Blastoise appeared and immediately

doused Tigris's flaming ears and tail. The red color started to fade from its body. “Tigris, Blizzard now!” commanded Inferno.

Then, Tigris sent out a beam of ice that froze Blastoise's water and jammed his cannons. “Blastoise, return!” called Ash.

Charizard, go!” Charizard knew how to handle ice. It used its Flame Thrower to melt down Tigris's body. The blue color

completely disappeared from Tigris's body after Charizard's Fire Blast hit it. “Tigris, show that stupid Charizard a real Fire

Blast.” Boomed Polaris. “Tigris released a stream of fire that was so powerful that it knocked out Charizard. “Pikachu, I

choose you buddy!” called Ash, bringing back Charizard. “Pi-Ka-CHU!!!” shouted Pikachu as it sent a burst of Thunder at

Tigris. Tigris was knocked down and didn't get up. “Look's like Team Gemini's” started Inferno. “Blasting off again!” finished

Polaris as they ran out of the building. By this time, the Elite Four had thawed. “You and Misty really work well together!”

remarked Lance. “Thanks.” Said Ash. “Who were they?” wondered Lorelei. “I don't know, but they'll be back.” Worried

Misty. “Bring 'em on!” bellowed Bruno.

Cerulean City Gym…

“Well Misty, that was fun.” Commented Ash. “Always a pleasure to win.” Replied Misty. “I'm hungry.” Said Brock. “I'm going

to get something to eat.” “Me too.” Agreed Christine. The two left and headed for the Cerulean Café/Deli. “We can eat here.”

Said Misty, pulling a lunch for two out of the cupboard. “Now…” she said as she warmed up the food, “What was it that you

wanted to ask?” This is it Ash told himself. As he was getting ready to say something, Brock and Christine burst

through the door. “That was a quick meal.” Misty pried. “It's Team Gemini!” blurted Brock. “They demanded to know the

way to Lavender Town from some guy, and then ran off.” Explained Christine. “What's in Lavender Town?” wondered Ash.

“Oh no!” screamed Misty. “What is it?” asked Brock. “Maybe they're going to steal some ghost Pokemon from the tower!”

she guessed. “With ghost Pokemon, they'd be unbeatable!” realized Ash. “We've got to stop them!” hurried Christine. The

group ran out of the Gym.

Why is Team Gemini going to Lavender Town? Will they capture some ghost Pokemon? What is it with Ash and his

question? All this in my action-packed conclusion.
