OCEAN BREEZE
Ocean Breeze
The afternoon was quiet and beautiful. The peacefulness in the ocean waves and the orange sun
blazing in the distance. The other half of sky, dark but wonderful. It extended on throughout
the sky and into the eastern sky. The stars filled that half while puffs of fluff filled the
other.
Ash and Misty spent the night at the newly built resort called the Cinnabar Coast. The resort
was built after the two arrived home. They were living with each other now at the Ketchum
residence in Pallet Town. They went out a lot too. They had their tough times and their good
times. They were here since Mrs. Ketchum had a business meeting in Cinnabar and it's where Ash
had to leave his family. Misty tagged along. Ash was 15 now and Misty was 17. Ash, still wished
that he were older. This was because he didn't feel like entering high school right before Misty
was going to leave. That wouldn't be a problem though. Tomorrow, he was leaving for military
school Though, he admired Misty's youthfulness and her desire to feel younger than she is. Ash
dreamed of their wedding one night, Misty in his arms and her, kissing his frosting covered
face, and Pikachu raiding the tables of it's ketchup. He thought to much on this. He hated to go
to military school. What was wierd though, it looked for Pokemon trainers. Yet, this school was
for training elite soldiers. He dwelled on the fact that this was his last night with Misty and
started walking down the beach.
Misty, was still inside on the sixth floor where they were staying. The window was open in the
bathroom as to let the steam from the shower out. She looked outside at the sunset. "Oh, Ash, I
love you so much." she said in that dreamy like voice, she smiled. She turned on the radio to an
oldies station and heard that song , Swept Away, which was part of that sitcom she used to watch
with her sisters. She looked back on what was the last night she spent with her last boyfriend.
She hated him so much, after that she never took interest in a guy until she met Ash. He was
caring. She never admited anything to anybody, and for so long. Now was probably the right time
to talk to Ash. She got of the tub and got dressed. Yet before all that, she noticed someone
walking down the beach. She wrapped a towel around her and leaned out. "Ash?" she said quietly.
Then with a rushing like the wind, she got dressed, ran out, and hit the elevator down button.
Misty noticed that the ocean breeze was peaceful. She caught up with the speed of the wind and
Ash. "Ash, are you going to come in?" Misty asked. "I was waiting for you." he responded in a
less rough voice, which did change over some time. "What if I didn't come down?" she whispered.
"I knew you would." He kissed her on the cheek, then on the lips. Misty calmed as she felt
lighter than the wind. She felt a soft touch an accepted it. She felt like the ocean breeze
sweepeing thorough her hair. "I'll always love you, Ash. Always." she whispered. Ash kissed her
again lightly and they watched the sunset before the night pushed it back.
The two then went up into their room, which was across the hall from Mrs. Ketchum's. Ash laid
Misty on the one bed. Misty's now black, long hair flowed on to the bed. Her hand grazed Ash's
face. "You're beautiful Misty." Ash whispered. "Let's make a promise, if I'm ever in trouble my
hero will come rescue me." Misty spoke. "What do you mean?" Ash asked. "You're going to military
school right? Just promise me you'll come." "Alright." Ash then kissed her then the two trailed
off in to sleep.
The next morning, Ash had already left leaving Misty a small lavender flower nothing more. Misty
stared at it and started to cry. The only thing there that dried her tears was nothing more than
the ocean breeze.
