COLD SHOULDER

A Cold Shoulder

It was night at the Team Rocket campsite. Everyone had eaten as well as they

could with the supplies they had, and were going to sleep. Actually, Meowth was already

asleep. James was about to drift off when he heard sounds emanating from Jessie's

sleeping bag. "What's wrong, Jess?" he asked, as he sat up in his bag.

Hearing that he was still awake, Jessie sat up and turned to him. "Ugh, it's this

night air!" she complained. "You're cold?" James guessed. "I'm freezing!" she nodded.

"I guess that mini skirt and mid drift top doesn't insulate you very well, huh?" he

laughed. Jessie smiled to him, while rubbing her arms trying to bring up some warmth.

"Here," he said, pulling off his rocket over shirt, and handing it to her. "Thank you," she

softly remarked, slightly taken aback by his kindness. She pulled the shirt over her head,

it absolutely swam on her. She never really realized how much larger he was then her.

But in any case, it was warm.

"Oh," she suddenly realized, "But now you'll be cold." "Na, I'll be fine," he

assured her, laying back down in his bag. He then had an after thought and rolled over, so

he would face her, "But you're warm enough, right?" "Yes," Jessie smiled at his concern.

"Good night, Jessie," he said, turning back on his over side. "Good night, James," she

sighed, laying back down in her bag. She curled up in his warm shirt, smiled and drifted off to sleep.
