Some times late at night

Goku stared up at the ceiling blankly. By his facial expresions no one could tell how deep in thought he was. There were a

million thoughts running throught his head at once.

He sighed, not knowing what else to do, but sleep. Before rolling over to his side caught a glimpse of ChiChi, she looked so

peaceful, just lying there asleep.

Iawake and watch her sleeping

She's lost in peaceful dreams,

So, I turn out the light

And lay there in the dark.

She looks so…at peace, Goku thought to himself. He didn't want to disturb this moment, so, he laid back down on his side and

continued to stare at the wood ceiling.

The the thought crosses my mind,

If I never wake up in the morning

Would she ever doubt, the way I feel about her

In my heart?

”What if, something were to happen to me when I face Cell?” Goku whispered in deep thought. “What if I was no longer there

for ChiChi and Gohan? Surely, they know my real feelings for them.”

If tomorrow never comes

Will she know how much I loved her?

Did I try in every way

To show here everyday,

That she's my only one?

And if my time on Earth were through

Then, she must face this world without me.

Is the love I gave her in the past,

Gonna be enough to last,

If tomorrow never comes?

”Did I always try to show them?” he continued. “I know that I wasn't there a lot, but…Darn it, Goku. You've waited too late to

make ends meet.”

Cause I've lost loved ones in my life,

Who never knew how much I loved them

“And what about Grandpa Gohan?” (Author's Note: Everyone else has been wished back.) Goku's eyes filled with tears.

”Why have I been so stupid?”

So I made a promise to myself

“I'll change. From now on, I'll tell them.”

To say each day

How much she means to me.

And avoid that circumstance

Where there's no second chance.

To tell her how I feel

Goku rolled over on his side and put his arm around his wife. “Chi Chi?”

If tomorrow never comes

Will she know how much I loved her

Did I try in every way

To show her every day

That she's my only one

Chi Chi stirred slightly. “What?”

And if my time on earth were through

Then she would face this world

Without me

Is the love I gave her in the past

Gonna be enough to last

If tomorrow never comes

“I just wanted to tell you, that I love you,” Goku said and kissed her cheek lightly.

So tell that someone that you love

Just what you're thinking of

Chi Chi smiled. “I love you too.”
